                           Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
Hailey Heard, Acadia, and Elafantos provided the music.  Barbara and Sky provided the food and beverages.  Laura accepted
do nations.  Frank was the MC (in between bites of dinner).  Paul bought lots of cookies.  Julie handled the money.  Bryan Parker organized the evening, Saturday April 10th, as a fundraiser for UFL, and the audience was treated to three hours of great music.  It was wonderful to see parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, cousins, and tons of teenagers fill the building and enjoy the show.

For most of them, this was their first foray into a  Unitarian establishment, so Frank told them a bit about us.  "We don't have a pastor, so we are a Fellowship, not a Church.  And we don't have a preacher because we don't liked to be preached at."  What we do like and strive to uphold are basic values that nurture a sustainable ecology, a mutually beneficial world economy, a fair and just legal system, an unfettered search for truth and understanding, and acceptance of one another.

This evening of music proved that, not only
is our new building a beautiful place for us to meet, it is also a superb venue for music and entertainment. Deepest appreciation goes out to all who have helped to make this possible, from the searchers to the fund raisers to the cleaners and painters, chain installers and well, actually, all of us!

Da Vinci Code ..... from Page 1 ...
Dr. Lynn Bauman will lead us on an "archaeological expedition" into this new material, beginning with mysteries of the DaVinci Code but moving back to the earliest layers of Christianity and the suppressed materials that are just now coming to light through the newly discovered gospels.  He has spent time translating and working with a number of these documents, and his studies and teaching in the Middle East, the source-lands of the Abrahamic traditions, has helped him to uncover many new insights that are important for contemporary seekers and searchers after truth.  Come prepared to work as a spiritual archaeologist.

An Auspicious Day..... from Page 1 ...
On  Sunday, May 1st we will celebrate the journey to our new place by gathering with old friends from along the way and our newest members.  We will share stories of our history and what it has taken to acquire this new building.  We will plant a tree as a symbol of our hopes and dreams for the future and there will be music and food to enjoy together.

So please do come and add your blessings to the dedication of our new building and all the hopes, dreams, struggles, laughter and tears that it will hold in the years to come.
