Our
Whole Lives -- Sexuality Education for Adults
For the next several
months, the UFL will be offering an opportunity for personal
spiritual growth and development by presenting Our Whole
Lives (OWL) for Adults, a component of the UUA life-span
sexuality education series. OWL for Adults will help
participants build an understanding of healthy sexual
relationships, affirm diversity, and accept/affirm their own
sexuality throughout the life cycle. OWL will
strengthen connections between the participants' sexuality
and spirituality, their values and their behavior, and
themselves and their religious community.
OWL for Adults consists of 14 two-hour sessions and is
flexible to suit the needs and interests of the
participants. Sherry Kircus and Steve Caldwell, trained
facilitators, will lead the classes.
The first class will be on 10/14/01, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
at the Unitarian Fellowship of Longview, 3106 Gilmer Road
We're hoping to see friends from Tyler Fellowship as well.
Y'all come, y' hear?
