Coordinators

Name Tag Coordinator

Beecher Threatt

Be aware, and learn names of visitors to UFL.  When those visitors seem to become “regulars,” (not necessarily Members, yet) prepare and informally present them with their own name tag in a permanent holder to be hung on the name tag board, and used during Sunday programs, or other events at UFL. Find out who doesn't have a name tag, make one, and be sure they wear them.

UFL History Book

Open

A volunteer position I have held since the formation of the Fellowship in 1983, is that of church historian. Throughout the year I collect newspaper articles dealing with the activities of our Fellowship and of our individual members and friends, letters to the editor, guest editorials, printed programs from special events, anything that pertains to the Fellowship. At the end of the year with the help of the monthly newsletter and from information I request from various members, I do a written narrative of the year's events. This narrative, plus material I have collected, is then placed in chronological order in a permanent album. To date, I have completed three albums.

The job description for getting the Sermons entry in the paper each Saturday:

Her email address is ddudley@longview-news.com. The information will appear in the Sermons listings of the Religion section on Saturday. Note that if a program does not appear to be a talk (that is, a sermon) then it cannot go in the listings. You may be able to get it in the "Church Events" listings. The form I use for emailing is:
